Microbial Metabolite Production

  • Production and characterization of Enzymes at lab scale (Proteases, lipases, amylases, cellulases, pectinases)
  • Enzymes supplemented poultry feed is in development process
  • Lysine Production (Strain developed for economic production at commercial scale)
  • Microbial production of antibiotics
  • Production of anti-cancerous compounds from fungal sources
  • Microorganisms as probiotics and for production of bacteriocins
  • Lab scale production with establishment of different parameters

Microbial Enhanced Oil Recovery

  • Consortium of microbes for field trials has been developed at lab scale, based on ability for production of Biopolymers, Surfactants, Organic acids, Gases, etc
  • Oil released potential has been investigated using Sand Packed Columns at lab scale
  • Field trials in collaboration with OGDCL, POL, HDIP have to be carried out

Making Environment Friendly Leather

  • Replacement of health hazardous chemicals by microbial enzymes
  • Recovery of value added products from tannery solid wastes
  • Production and scale-up of microbial enzymes (80 L) has been made in collaboration with University of Westminster UK
  • Process designed for the large scale applications
  • Public/Private sector collaboration for industrial production
